Posts getting deleted

Quick question: Is there any way to find out why your own reply to a thread has disappeared?

I have read the forum rules and I know that I have certainly been following them, yet a post of mine was just recently deleted. I will admit to being slightly annoyed, but I don't aim to throw a fit about it, for one occurrence hardly feels worth getting upset about. I would merely appreciate knowing what my post was deleted for so that I may learn how to avoid breaking any unspoken rules in the future. It would just be nice to feel safe in the knowledge that my thought-out posts are not at risk of spontaneously combusting into a waste of time that could have better been spent playing FFXIV.

To be fair, there is no need for swearing, even if you disagree.

I think the only way would be to contact the moderator team and see if they can share the reason. If you didn't get a private message or e-mail stating a reason, there's usually very little other locations remaining on forums where as a user you can see infraction data.
