Early Access entitlement will have continued access to FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn until 23.59 GMT on August 29th, after which a full registration will be required.

this early access extension is mainly for 1 reason, to allow square-enix enough time to send out registration codes to everyone who pre-ordered/bought the digital download game from their store. If they didn't do this then anyone who preordered the digital download version from their store would be unable to log into the game today.
I played during beta 3 and 4 and have a service account since then. Was in early access because I bought/preordered the digital download from the SE store. As of this post I still have not received my registration code from them. On square enix account page you will find a page that says:
