Check out the community forums. There is one for each server, including Hyperion. There is also this website: http://ffxiv-roleplayers.com/
Kenai, we DO have a small group of RPers on Hyperion. regalius.guildlaunch.com. I'll keep an eye open for you, though the RP group is its own Linkshell as part of Regalius. Not everyone in our FC is an RPer.
