Mouseover macros (<mo>) sometimes affect self instead of mouseover target

I'm experiencing a rare but fairly annoying bug wherein macros that use the <mo> (mouseover) token will sometimes cast the action on myself instead of my mouseover target. This bug has been in the game since at least phase 2 of the beta.

The current macro I use is below:

/macroicon Cure
/action Cure<mo>
/action Cure<t>

It's difficult to estimate the frequency but I'd put it at about once in every 20 casts. It may be random or it may be associated with some other action, I haven't been able to tell yet as it is somewhat difficult to reproduce intentionally. Sometimes it'll happen when my hand is completely off the mouse, and in these situations if I press Cure again (without touching the mouse) it'll heal the correct target even though the cursor hasn't moved at all.

I used to have a /action Cure <me> line at the end, but I removed that in case that might have been what is causing the problem. It doesn't seem to have fixed the problem, though I think it may have reduced the frequency somewhat.

As you can imagine it's a pretty annoying bug and can be fairly dangerous if it happens at a bad time since that's basically a full GCD wasted and the tank might be close to death. It's been in the game for a long time so I'd be quite happy if it could be fixed.

I resolved my issue as to getting the mouseover to work. I'll start monitoring its reliability now as noted by Ninix above.

I am experiencing this same problem. About one in 20 or so casts just hit me instead of my mouse over target. Anyone have a fix for this?
