Additions to hotkeys and shortcuts relating to the main menu.

I mentioned this in my Linkshell's chat when we were doing leves the other day and brainstorming about possible improvements for XIV. The development team is beginning to excite me with April's patch schedule, and I look forward to the future. But there are some basic UI functions present in XI and other MMOs that are lacking in XIV.


For example:

In XI, ctrl+E opens your equipment screen instantly.
In WoW, C opens your equipment screen instantly, and also shows a variety of other info.
In XIV, it takes 2-3 clicks and 5-10 seconds just to get to look at what you're wearing. These little subtleties extend past just equip screens, and I see potential to vastly improve XIV's UI by simply adding a few more commands.

CTRL + E = equip screen
CTRL + I = inventory
CTRL + F = Friends List
CTRL+ A = Actions and Traits
ALT+ T = Teleport
ALT + L = Linkshell menu
ALT + P = Party menu


Devs, and community reps, if you get a second... take a look at these. It's a really easy fix that will partially solve the UI troubles this game had and still has.

Change the ALTs and CTRLs to something else, like SHIFT, and you've got a great idea! CTRL and ALT are currently used to bring up the macro action bars.

You can set keys for most of those now. Go into the menu-config-keyboard settings.
