Exactly what it sounds like. Screenshot to verify the lack of tattoo attached. (Snipped a whole load of stuff from the template that wasn't remotely relevant to my particular issue)

Try typing /legacymark or /lmark
That worked, thanks. Not sure why that would be toggled off initially, though...
EDIT: And now I'm fairly sure I'm not getting the alternate dialogue for a 1.0 character. *Sigh.* This isn't my day, although at least in my character's case, it makes some sense, given that they didn't achieve much more than level 8 as an Alchemist. (I regret not playing 1.0 more, despite its flaws, but it's too late now...)
