used chocobo whistle and it disappeared permenantly :(

what happened for it to disapoear?

now i cant call my chocobo :(

I believe you call your chocobo from the character pane. Using the whistle just enables it, and it is discarded after to clear up inventory space.

EDIT: I knew the pane started with a "C". Sorry for naming the wrong one, and thanks to everyone else for providing the correct info :)

I was scared at first, but go to Compasions, and call him.
You don't need Gyshal Greens, that's only for fighting I think and at level 30, you get a quest to have him fight with you.

Most people just set it to their hot bar...you did not lose it.

checked companions and found mount command

Hey new player! Can't really help you with your issue but i wish you a happy gaming with A Realm Reborn!

I found the mount in Character (at the bottom right corner) then go to companion, and then you can drag the mount to your hot bar from the mount section.
