Online notifications. Small chat enhancements and Player status viewing!

I'm fairly new to the game, so I only recently started using the social parts of the game. But I have a couple of suggestion I'm really hoping to get implemented.

A online notification when people in your friend list (or LS) log on. Either in the chat log or somewhere else. An option to choose whether to only show Friends or LS members or both.

If you're conversing with multiple people that are not in the same channel it gets kind of annoying to switch between them all the time having to constantly type their names.
So what about making it possible to click names in the chat and /tell them? Would make things a lot easier.

And lastly a way to see if people are away, online or have been inactive for X amount of time. So in that case also add a function that sets a "away" status when he/she has been inactive for a while.

As I mentioned I'm fairly new to the game so I probably don't know about everything yet, but I haven't found any of these functions ingame yet.

Hope this is doable, since it would make socializing just a bit more easy!
