Pre Order Questions

My cousin wants to "Pre Order" right now. Will he be able to play when it downloads today? Or was early access locked when it began? He had to wait until the banks opened today to cash his check to buy the game. He is buying it off PS Store if that matters at all. Thanks in advance to who ever has an answer. :D

He should be able to play. Since it's the 27th already in Japan, the launch is imminent.

Depends where he gets it - I would venture a guess Amazon would issue an EA code, if they have any left. Your results may vary.
