So, I'm currently playing FFXIV on my desktop & laptop. However, bars, outfits & UI all appear to be stored client-side as opposed to server-side. Does anyone have suggestions for keeping those updated across both? As in if I change my Lancer outfit on my desktop, I can do something on my laptop to update it's Lancer outfit as well?

I play on PC and PS3 and it is a bit frustrating indeed
If i make progress on one side and got new skill then need to re-arrange them on the other side too

I think that config is located in "C:\Users\(Your session)\Documents\my games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn", since they are saved locally. You should try to copy that folder to your lap and replace the existent one. I don't know if the UI and stuff are "clouded" or if there will be an feature available for that.
Yes - there are .DAT files in subfolders for each character at C:\Users\****\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn (where **** is computer user ID). Just copy them over for what ever you want to duplicate.
