1017 error and chatacter show logged in

I was in Copperbell mines when the server went down this morning when they did emergency maintenance. Now I have tried to log back in since when the server came back live and I get 1017 error or it goes to the Que then I get kicked off with another error that I lost communication with the server (I think error 10012 or something). But my Friend that is on says my character is showing online both on his friends list and in our Free Company.

Same thing here now. game crashed earlier today when in Satasha. Now not able to log in error 1017. others all getting in ok and all see me showing online for friends and free company.
