When trying to play ARR, I am getting an error "Unable to launch FINAL FANTASY XIV Updater. [11035][5][19900][5]". I have played beta since Phase 3 and have used the same client. I have tried to uninstall FFXIV and use the client from Here [http://www.finalfantasyxiv.com/playersdownload/na/] with no luck. Thank you for any help!
I would like to add that:
-I have Windows 8
-I have turned off all firewalls/windows defender
-I have tried running in Windows XP (SP3) compatibility mode.

I'm having the same problem as well . I haven't been able to play for days and theres nothing useful in the forums and on the internet . I tried everything I can think of .My last hops is waiting on the ticket I submitted to SE. If I figure it out ill let u know.
I figured it out on my own .....when u uninstall the game the FF files aren't completely gone..find them and delete them....then reinstall ...mines updating right now
