Got the same error.
First it said please wait in que. I was #95. Tried again later and now the only thing I get is this screen with Error 1017.

Nope can confirm it was one of the errors I received frequently in P4 but haven't seen it as of yet during EA though

I got in initially but then had to reboot the computer for an unrelated issue and now getting the 1017. I think they might be using the login restriction thing they did after the last maintenance and they just haven't put up the announcement yet.
They are reducing the amount of people they are letting log into the servers..... not the best way to keep customers..
