Well im not exactly white knighting but release is when I started paying, so release is when im done with their excuses. Games not working by late Monday, im going for full refund if possible from SE store. If not then at least ill refrain from putting in my product key until things are looking better. I understand its not a released product yet but things just keep looking worse as release day gets closer.
And for the record, there is a difference between being disappointed because you cannot play an as of today free game (even those who've been charged didnt pay a dime over what others are paying on Tuesday) yet is understanding of the situation... and being an entitled baby foaming at the mouth and condemning SE along with all their loved ones to the bowels of hell because theyre continuously having maintenance's trying to fix server load related problem.
It's called Learned Helplessness. It's the effect battered women show in abusive relationships. It's a serious condition that needs serious intervention. Fortunately, being abused by your hobby is still socially acceptable.
I think it has come to replace the "WoW Kid" one, so you'll probably see it more often even if the issues are still happening post-launch.

Its just people over reacting in both regards. The "intilded babies" are mad and pissed they can't play so they throw a his sy fit and the "white knights" don't want anyone bad talking the game. Over reacting to an over reaction. We need to meet in the middle and be annoyed at the problem while still understanding the situation instead of name calling and bickering. Its not like I'm saying we don't have a reason to be annoyed. We have every right, but SE knows there is a problem and is working to fix it. Complaining won't help anything, neither announcing that your going to stop playing. If people can't wait out the problems then cancel and rejoin later.
I too am tired of seeing "you have not paid yet" or "this is free extra time" um yes i have paid my CE in full at gamestop already. Also i paid for it with the perk of starting on the 24th because i prepaid before release.
If you paid for a sneak preview of a movie and the movie didn't work you would be mad stop being FANBOYS SE has a problem they could come out and say hey we messed up working on it sorry. But we get little to no info about the servers at this point Sony has better customer service and if you have played any Sony MMO's you know how bad that is.
At this point I'm just going to stand back and watch how everything plays out.
