Today I was watching the second episode of one of the new anime series aired in Japan nowadays (Dog Days, a fantasy-cutesy anime series) and I had already noticed that there were some "horsebirds" (:P) quite similar (if not identical) to chocobos.

So far all's normal and fine. Then I hear the following line "She's arrived on the battlefield! Her Chocobo looks imposing as usual!!!"
And then I laughed :D
Looks like nowadays even non-final fantasy anime get official full-fledged chocobos (and I couldn't find any affiliation of the series with Square Enix) :D
Can we have them too, pretty please? :D
