Create new Legacy servers and allow 1.0 people to transfer to them.

Legacy players have alone proven to be too much for the servers, come Tuesday even more people will be trying to sign on (the rest of the 1.0 players). I guess this is essentially allowing us to transfer to new servers which they do not allow, so perhaps make it so that only 1.0 players can transfer to them. We seem to have plenty of 1.0 people to fill more servers.

I personally agree with the option to move servers. I have friends joining the game where as it stands now I wouldn't get to play with unless I create a brand new character on their server. Options to move servers would be a great idea.

I agree. More servers period would probably help, but especially Legacy servers. I know a lot of people that have been trying to get on the legacy servers with their friends and a lot of people that quit early on that are coming back. We have way higher population than we did back when they merged the servers down to the current number. In hindsight SE should have split the servers into their premerge numbers. They would have run the risk of having to remerge them soon after launch though which always looks bad to outside observers. I can just see the headlines. "Square Enix's relaunch fails as they have to merge servers due to low player numbers."

I, for one, support this idea.

In addition, (slightly off topic) I would like to see the ability for a free company (or possibly linkshell) as a whole to apply for a server transfer together. This would allow a single person to submit the application, each member would approve or sign the application confirming they in fact do want to be transferred with the rest of their FC/LS and then the whole group is moved together.

My current concern right now, especially with the issues of old friends not being able to create characters on a specific server is that we fall into the same issue where everyone is required to submit a server transfer application and 90% get it in on-time to be accepted and then the server is closed to other transfers or creation.

Being able to transfer characters is key though you can add all the servers you want but if nobody moves well.....

Add servers, allow legacy and non-legacy to transfer to them.

If the instance server is hammered another instance server and separate the NA/EUR data center into 2 instance groups.

It's time to get rid of legacy non-legacy. Add more servers to devide people. Newer players and non-established should be able to migrate free. Some of us have been handing In since the original 1.0 testing, and through it all. I aam patient but this is redundant now. Very little play time in 2 days.

SOme wanting to meet up with FC members can't, others stuck in cues or can't log in.

Auto disconnect has to be turned on. If people are sittig nd idle they have no business taking up lsots.Yet with a devide, it wouldn't be such an issue.

Why would legacy leave their own server? you new scrubs shouldn't have priority log in over 1.0 characters on a 1.0 server

Thats the problem right there. a good portion of my free company and LS's are Legacy members.
None of us would move.
