A letter to Sqaure Enix: This World Is Not Accepting Any More New Characters

Dear Square Enix,
I just wanted to write a letter to you of this issue among other things. I know that this is Day 2 of Early Release and I know that you are working literally around the clock to make sure that the game will be a smoother experience and enjoyable for all and that is ok! I at least appreciate at what you are doing! But what gets me and alot of others who are like myself who have a RL and can be busy with family and work so we want to enjoy our free time with a game and we chose your latest MMO to play but did not expect the frustrations of many to several to many servers locked! I played since Beta Phase 3 and did not have this trouble at all. I missed Beta Phase 4 due to RL so I could not claim my server that I was on which was Leviathan. I know that many people are playing all at once and you have implemented a queue system which is great but for those of us that missed the open release at 2AM PST to claim our server due to being at work or asleep, Now alot of them or most of the ones we want are on lock down.

I understand that you are trying to expand traffic to other servers and not congest the popular servers like Moogle, Leviathan, Gilgamesh and among others but when you have friends that started linkshells or friends who got their server in time and such on these servers and you are the black sheep and left out of the fun while you are trying your hardest to make a character on those servers and/or at least get in queue but cannot, You are forced to another server in the meantime like myself. I went to Malboro but still not the same experience for me since I have my husband and best friend on Leviathan which is still on lock down.

We the people did pay money for this Early Release to enjoy but is bogged down with this lock down, Making us wonder if it was worth paying up front for early release or not. It is temporary from what the posts state on your Twitter but it almost looks like it can be also permanent. I know you keep communication open via Twitter and Forums but how about posts of when certain servers open? That would be awesome cause like myself, Many of us are stuck at the character creation screen refreshing, Relogging constantly after a period of time just to see if we get the opportunity to get in our server we want to be on. It would be great if all servers were open and you could put all of us in queue if the server is indeed full (even if it's a huge queue of like 200 or something, That's ok! At least we know we are getting in at some point!) and as a person logs out, Another could join to take place of that person logging out, etc. So that we can at least claim the server we choose.

Also just to point some things out on the locked servers and/or all servers, There are people who afk themselves for long periods of time just to keep their spot in game on those servers which prevents the lot of us to log in and have fun cause of their selfish need to stay in when it should be a all around teamwork where if you go afk for a long period of time, Let someone else join in and have fun, Log out and enjoy life! There is always another time to come back and play! It would be a good idea to implement a anti afk for a certain period of time to boot them off for inactivity, Like 60mins and if 60mins passes, They are booted from the server and that will free up ALOT of room making it a smooth and less congestion for you guys since many are afking past 60mins and sometimes all night or day, Making things more difficult for you to work server congestion and such.

Just some ideas and food for thought since release is coming and MANY more will be joining up making it more so difficult unless actions are made now before the 27th or customer base will be lost due to these things and that would be not good! I would love to play on Leviathan with my husband and best friend like I did back in Phase 3 and now currently left in the dark like many others going through this same issue of if these locked servers will ever be open. I appreciate the time for you reading this letter of mine and keep up the great work! :) In the meantime, Back to Character Creation and refreshing World List!
