Early Access? Early Disappointment! Shame on you SE

Everybody who pre-ordered FFXIV did so out of love and excitement for FFXIV and especially for the ability to start playing before everyone else...

If you pre-ordered it meant that you are more than the average customer for Square Enix, that you are a big fan. (unless you are rich)

This is how you treat your determined users? You give us a broken game with 3 hour long maintenances, repeatedly?

To top it all off, you provide us with limited servers, and the Inability to login during early access

What was your 4 phases of beta testing for??

Why is it taking so long to fix a problem?

Why can't we login anymore?

Why are we being penalized for your mistakes???



This is not a message for some troll who is going to be tell me to get a refund or deal with it. Most are pissed off and annoyed they cant play, nobody likes you right now, go away.

6 + hours downtime instances still not fixed and even more worrying they dont know what is wrong. How to proceed = lock everyone out of the game and pretend everything is working.
It is looking like another Diablo. What was the point in early access when its always down? and this will be 10x worse when the game officially launches on the 27th.

So I guess dont login for 2 weeks and maybe it will be playable.

If you didn't expect things like this to happen with an MMO launch, you must be new.

Get used to it. In a week or two when the game is running fine, you won't even remember this stuff. Just go do something else. It's not the end of the world if you can't log in for a couple of hours on a game that will be online for YEARS.

Quit bitching, I pre ordered the game months ago, and I was sent the wrong region code. Be happy that you were able to play some of us have been starring at the forums for 3 days with NO hope or comment from SE. Maint. And the like are gonna happen if they don't then u really won't be able to play. PLAY WHEN YOU CAN, AND BE HAPPY THAT YOU HAVE THE OPTION.

I have sympathy for you Melonade.

Thankfully I go to work 40 hours a week :P Never thought I would say that, but on this occasion it seems going away for a while will actually help resolve the problems.

So your advice, dont mention any problems or flaws and be happy with ANY service you get good or bad? If your happy with a mediocre service that when you payed your money you did not think you would get their is something wrong with you.
Bad launches ruin games first impressions are everything, failure to prepare after 4 beta phases and a history of other MMO launches and failures is unacceptable.
My problem is not with the game, I love the game. My problem is with insufficient infrastructure, spend the money SE to have a flawless launch, rather than run the risk of a fantastic game being ruined by bad press.

I don't recall saying I am happy with what is happening. I just feel getting too occupied with a problem will not resolve the problem. Its just common reasoning.

Fortelling the failure of this game because of a couple of hours maintenance during a period of free play? You have no idea...
