Getting to Limsa

Ok how do you get to Limsa from either Gridinia or Ul'dah.I'm not new,but the maps are completely different from 1.0 and I mean traveling by Chocobo not ferries or airships.

You can not. Just be glad you are not stuck in Limsa like us on the island lol.

When people say you have to be level 15 and do the main quest, does the main quest mean your class you picked beacuse I did lancer level 15 quest and did not get an airship pass?
