A little help would be apreciated

So I had a few questions concerning my Ver1.0 character. When I try to summon my mounts the only one I have is the legacy chocobo, I no longer have my old chocobo or my Gobbue mount. Does anyone know why this is?
On a side note I'm also confused about switching my job to arcanist because when I do try to do so the game tells me I haven't unlocked it yet. I wasn't under the impression the we had to unlock a base class.

You get your old mounts from the calamity salvager available in each of the starting cities. :)

As for the arcanist part: You have to go to the guild of each class in order to unlock it properly. which also requires you to have finished the lvl 10 quest from your main class.
