Updater/Launcher log on problems...

As I proceed to log on to my Final Fantasy XIV: ARR account I get a updater/launch version which I though I updated yesterday (so unless it is a new version somehow is kicked my update off) so as I was playing earlier today I was kicked off by a connection error and then learned Square-Enix was doing a maintenance on NA/EU servers so I waited several hours before logging on. Now as I proceed to log on I have this new update that contains 2.5 gigabytes and when it gets close to the end it resets. I've tried this 3 times already and each time it has reset... PLEASE address this issue because it is ruining my Early Access time. Thank you.
