Multiple characters on same Square Enix account (PC/PS3)

Hello all, I need some answers regarding the situation I'm currently in.

I have a legacy account and purchased a copy PS3 CE. By mistake I tied the PS3 early access code to the same FFXIV service account I already have, which means I'm unable to play with my wife at same time.

So my question is do is the early access code somehow tied to the PS3 CE I ordered? Can I still use the registration code in the PS3 CE to create another FFXIV service account even though I've already used the early access code?

The early access code isn't tied to any specific account, so you should be fine creating a new account with the new PS3 registration code.
