To everyone who did not receive a code or got incorrectly registered as PS3.

It isn't an "official" fix, but I canceled my order through SE and then re-ordered it through Amazon. They immediately sent me e-mail confirmation and minutes later sent a working promotional code.

Obviously since even after cancelling the order it will remain a "pending transaction" for a couple days before being debited back to a bank account, this will only work if you have the money to buy the game again- but it worked for me.

(If this helps you, bump it so others may be freed of this particular aggravation)

this worked. i just did it for my wife and got the code within 2 mins

Just ordered a new CE from Green Man Gaming, I received the early access code, which was (correctly this time) for the PC version like I had originally ordered from the SE, NA site but they'd sent me the early access code for the PS3 instead... And this took me less then 5 minutes from start to finish.
All I can say is AVOID ordering from the SE site for the time being and/or cancel your existing pre order with them and try Green Man or another site, seems to work, and good luck to everyone who is dealing with this frustration!

I have enough money but barely. I always get nervous when I cancel an order that have already been charged to me(which I did upon not receiving a registration code or early access code). Is it worth buying again through amazon right now since all the servers are constantly down? or should I wait till I am refunded?

how do i cancel my order?

Go to your confirmation email and copy your order number, then click to findmyorder link in the email and enter your order number and SE password. At the bottom click on view invoice, then cancel.
