Login Problems, Needs at Least 1 Character (I have that)

I was intrigued by the blogs offered and I thought I might try my hand at it too. But when I attempt to log in one http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/ to participate, it gives me an error on the Select Character page.

The only option available is a large Log Out button directly below this message. I indeed have a character made, granted she is only level 6. What am I doing wrong?
