Give US/EU more servers! JP Do not need 25!

Japanese servers are hosted in Japan, so shutting them down and "giving them" to NA/EU wouldn't really do much besides free up some money... However, Square stated that the problem was with the servers responsible for handling the instances, so again, shutting down Jap world servers doesn't do much.

I feel bad for all those that jumped ship from the Japanese legacy servers, I'm still looking for some sort of community on Aegis then again I've yet to visit Ul'dah during release I'm assuming it's still the center of commerce.

I still think it's a shame they bothered moving the servers in the first place, probably wouldn't have had these issues if they still had them all in house.

The country they are based in? Man why would they do that?

You do realize that you can create a character and play on a JP server. The main difference is where the data centers are located. JP's are located in JP while US/EU are elsewhere. I am guessing to keep from too much connection lag for those areas. If you create characters and play on there. Sure there would be the issue of communication for some people. But don't forget auto-translator. Also a few of them do speak english and are nice.

U guys must understand, theres JP servers and a wierd thing called "over seas" that only give problems.

last time i tried to play on a japanese server people were shouting/yelling "JP ONLY" so they really are xenophobic to the t.

Are more people in Japan playing XIV than the rest of the world? Clearly not since they are the only functional servers right now.. :confused:

How about this: Lower Japanese servers to 5, give us the other 20. Otherwise tuesday is going to be a complete disaster when we see a huge influx of new players... Japan really doesn't need 25 servers. Or take the naming off them completely so more new players will go to the JP servers.

Oh really you think a Japanese game have more playerbase outside of Japan. They probably not having the same problem as we are because they servers are in house compared to ours across the world.
