It was explained to me that the quick synthesize button was supposed to appear on items already crafted but it isn't present on any of my crafting classes.

I believe there is a level requirement to use quick synth.. If your leveling up tho it's a waste of xp to use quick synth..
you need lvl 10 of given crafting profession.
Sorry about that was being told by some friends they had it at level 6 or 8
