Omfg everyone go to GameSpot and watch the video review they have of the old FFXIV. It crazy on how much of an improvement they have made. I watch that video and wonder why I even played that game, but I'm glad I did.

That's probably what it was too. If it wasn't a final fantasy title, I probably would of stopped playing.

wow. I played the first 2 months of 1.0, i did like it but yeah, it looked kinda bad. I was in awe most of the time I played in beta, just in scenery alone ARR is awesome and I think mmo's needed something visually exciting like this. Cannot wait till launch!

Makes FFXIV ARR look like a totally different game. Amazing where FFXIV has been able to rise from.

I'm pretty sure i enjoyed it for about a month...and all the rest of the months it was free :)

I still <3 1.0 every single version from craft to battle.

I still liked 1.0 apart from game crashes faulty engine. They have made considerable improvements. Even 1.23 was very good but due to such a crappy game engine it was unreliable.
