Glitchy graphics and empty text boxes

I'd like to report that my husband is experiencing glitchy graphics and empty text boxes. My game is running fine with no problems. We checked different graphic settings and still no change. He can't even play. Through the first cut scenes before reaching the city after you create your character was fine, but once he went to accept the first quest that is when all hell broke loose. Then we thought hey maybe its just a data transfer that went wrong from using a copy and paste image. So he went to create a new character and discovered that the Miqo'te and the Roegadyn classes have their faces blurred out in a bright white circle.

Anyway at this point I'm wondering if he should reinstall the game, but I'm afraid to have him do that since I see all of these people having issues reinstalling and such. & I'm also curious if anyone else is experiencing this same problem?

Well looks like whatever the issue was fixed itself. Not sure what happened or what we did while staring at the screen in disappointment. Anyways, we're happy now :D
