Hope for large scale battles and machine based battles

Awaiting our dear game I was remembering some previous FF installments, including FFXI of course...and there was one thing I remembered that I've yet to see in FFXIV, although hopeful it will return.

Large scale war battles, where although I'm a great aid to an army/group, I can feel the size of my character and party...which is fairly small. The knowledge that I cannot take a whole army on by myself, and without a whole army to back me, I'd be pretty dead. I mean it's cool I'm the chosen one along with my party to bring back peace and bla bla...but some knock down of my characters ego would be nice too :P

In addition, would be cool to see airship battles again. My party and myself fighting the head or portion of an insanely huge monster, say Midgardsormr, while my airship is firing away at it. Again, us as the chosen ones are saving the airship, but obviously without the flight and fire power of an airship(s), we'd be dead of course. There should be no reason my party could take something the size of Midgardsormr alone.

Just my opinion and high hopes.
