PS3 Update Error"Unable to update patch files [11006][20814][20831][19900][-214..."

So I had this error during Phase 4, never could get it to download. After Beta, I deleted the client completely, then re-downloaded/installed with Early Access key and am now getting it again. It comes after downloading and during the installation of the first patch file from 8.10.2013.

Here is the exact error:

"Unable to update patch files.
[11006][20814][20831][19900][-2147418069]"

umm can you cap your internet speed and try downloading the patch that way? get it below 2 meg a second

Huh? Wait, you think my connection is too FAST? Just out of curiosity, why?

The download was done at a pretty consistent 1.5 mb/s, so that's under 2 mb/s. If that's seriously what is wrong, I guess I could try throttling the speed in my router settings if I can figure out how. Seems unlikely though.

umm can you try hooking it straight to the modem ? most people witht his error ussly got it to work by going to friends house and downloading it something to do with the internet

I suppose I can give it a go, I'll let you know what happens.

So, I went straight from the PS3 to the modem. It seemed like it got a bit further in the installation, but the same error occurred during the install of the same patch. I really had my hopes up there for a second ><

Any other ideas are welcome.

im thinking its an isp issue cause i had a install error on my ps3 thatw as simuliar when the download was corrupted. thats why i was hoping throttling your connection a bit would help.

example ( if you push your itnernet connection to its limits does your internet crap out this has happen to me before) thats why i think its a small corruption issue

I definitely considered it, but 2 mb/s isn't even close to redlining my bandwidth. I have a solid 40 mbs cable connection in a rural area of the country where there isn't ever node congestion, and its 3am here so there is very few people online in my region.
Very disheartening. :(

damn : / you can try to take it to a friends and download it there that seems to be the best way to solve it. but you may never be able to patch from your house if thats the case its something you can talk to your isp about. honestly they need a intrigity checker in the client
