PS3 "no valid or active service account" folks - NEW UPDATE.

I just noticed that my funds have been put back in my wallet and now all services expire on 8/23. Should we assume this to mean we'll be able to re-download/activate at midnight?

Let me ask this... did it always say it would expire Aug 23, or is that new? If new, I would say yes, we can redownload at midnight. Although we wont really need to download anything, just start the download and cancel it.

you should wait for a dev response before download or delete it again.

New. No question. That date wasn't there 2 hours ago. It was blank.

so what do we do now there has been no official info about what digital psn users should do besides get money back and expire the service of the game and there has been no message im confused and at a lost :( i downloaded this game more then once i am going to work doing overnight i hope for some good news or i will give up on digital and get the hard copy

But why would them refunding our money mean we will be able to download come midnight? Doesn't this sound a lot more like "All bets are off, no more EA through PSN digital copy, here's your money back?"

It could mean that, or it could mean that our transaction history is wiped at midnight (services expire aug 23) and the ability to re-download will be available. I'm not holding my breath though.

i think its because of the PSN store.i preordered on the 15th, and open beta'd on the 16th. my open beta service(as seen on the PS3 accoutn services) must have overriden my preorder. meaning, all the system sees is me being a beta tester but NOT a preorderer. so they cancel our preorder and let us pre order again to reset the date on our EA and CE service accounts. the new EA and CE service accounts will then override the open beta account..


these are just deductions though. i hope im right...XD
