Digital River just cancelled my order!!

Just received an email stating that my order has been canceled for the CE pc version. I'm on the phone with support right now.

They are saying since I ordered a Physical copy of the PC CE AND a digital copy (for my brother) under the same credit card. They got confused so they decided to cancel my physical copy.

Now they are stating there is no guarantee that I am going to receive it since the item is a collectors and already sold out.

FU digital river!

Ouch, hope you get it sorted. They /should/ put you back in since the fault is completely theirs.

I'm pretty sure if you have all the paper work(emails) and sales transactions they can't just cancel it on you.

That is awful, who are they to decide that they are gonna cancel something for a customer. People do buy two copies of stuff, and it is a MMO so if there are two people in a house they need TWO COPIES to play together.

Shame on them, and I hope you get your physical CE. Sorry that happened to you.

If they had it reserved for you until now its not like theyve just thrown it down the toilet O.o I'm not hearing great things about Digital River (or any of this pre-order fiasco infact. SE need to reign in on bad resellers)

I've had this happen before. Makes you wonder who the person is exactly that decides you meant to order one instead of two. How do you decide that?

This is the email they sent me:

Reason for Cancellation: Other"

I have to wait 3-5 business days to hear back to see if I can still get it.

Look at the bright side, how many people went to Gamestop or EB and put 5$ down on a copy just for the EA which they will probably never pick up.

I would assume that local GS and EB's will have a few extra copies around to be bought.

+1. No one just assumes it was an accident and cancels without contacting first. Someone did that on purpose to swipe that copy for themselves. I worked retail and I saw crooked crap like this happen all the time.

Either they figure it out and get you your copy back or they'll have to find another one, or they will tell you SOL.

I'm just really upset right now. Did I need the CE? Nope. Bought the 1.0 version when it came out. I just been so excited for this games relaunch for the past 2 years that I really wanted everything it had to offer.

This is just a huge let down for me :(
