FREE TRIAL LEGACY AND 1.0 PLAYERS

Does the legacy and 1.0 players that are not buying the game will still have the 30 days free trial? or we'll need to deposit the crysta right away from the start of early access as regular month payment?

We dont benefit from the 30 day free trial but we dont pay until september 15 or 9 I think it was.

hay i have a question and I'm new to this so im not sure if im posting in the right place but here it goes, i played the open beta on the ps3 and also pre-orderd the game, what i would like to know is do i have to start paying on early access or official release i really don't want my data to get deleted. is there a free period for me to play before i have to put in a payment option. pardon my bad spelling note: im not a legacy player

You can play for free:
- 27.08-09.09 if you're 1.0 player
- 24.08-09.09 if you're legacy player
@sigmond, if you pre-ordered you can start on 24.08. Anyone who buys game gets 30 day free.

You'll never lose your character/data from not paying. They are assigned to your account no matter what (as far as I know). The Open beta characters were confirmed to remain for the early access and official release.

Edit* I didn't see that other part I thought you said playing. You do not have to pay (other than for the actual game on the 27th) until the 26th of September.

I'd like to specify on this for the 30 days, since this applies to more than new subscribers.
if you apply a code for a different platform you get 30 days extra if you had 1.0. ( ie. if you are 1.0 and bought the ps3 version, you technically get 45ish days)

As a related question, I was a 1.0 player on PC, but not legacy. I am aware that, unless I can get my hands on a pre-order code, I'm not allowed to play until 8/27.

Does this also mean that I can't even update my client until launch? I loaded the client today and it told me that there is "no valid or active service account".

Is something wrong, or will this message go away as soon as 8/27 hits?
