They pretty said that when it first went on sale with the whole "available in limited quantities" note.

It says Limited Production *Limited quantities of the Collector's Edition will be produced.
You can maybe still find it at local retailers, ie. GameStop, EB Games, etc. Friend of mine who works at GameStop said they just got the CE copies in yesterday.
Yea you had to pre-order it fast if you really wanted it bud, sorry to hear you missed out :(
