FFXIV missing things

I have some things here who made the FFXI so great game missing in FFXIV

I will give you my story about my time in FFXI Remora ffxi was my first mmorpg so i dident know much about play in team online

First days in the new world i was just around Sandoria and East West Raunfare trying out how the game was working killed some monsters

First lvl took some days to make i dident even use weapon for the first battles becouse i dident know how to equip it hehe

When i had play some days i was around 10-14 and started play with small groups at La Thene Plateu 2-5 members or solo sometimes

One day in first week another player invited me to join party in Valkurm Dunes first party was not so good

But my really nicest experience was one day when i got in a real good party maybe becouse we had a high lvl who was support us so we did alot experience points that night after that i really got a nice felling for this game.

Later i had many partys at valkrum dunes without any high lvl to help it was always a great felling also becouse later you know how to make the party good without any power lvl but just that little help we got that day made me really get a nice felling about the game it was some one there a high lvl helping us out with ouer party setup who not was the best.

After some day i was lvl 20 and people i meet in Valkrum dunes they helped me explain the way to get to Jeuno i was joining some other people who was walking to Jeuno from Valkrum Dunes
it was just an adventure get in one peice without die from Valkrum dunes to Jeuno but with ouer guide a lvl 30-35 we arrived to Jeuno

Some days later i meet some other players from my home country who invited me to there linkshell it was nice meet them with little more experience it gave me alot of moments i never will forget

We was teaming up in ouer little linkshell doing party togheter and was doing the Sandoria Missions togheter it was so exciting do the first missions togheter we was all pretty low lvl so it was many deaths but it was also wery nice becouse it was hard not easy you had move in group watch out for aggro fighting togheter and die and retry
I really liked they way you always had to think and plan in FFXI the aggro system with sound sight visual was awsome it made the game alive.

It took alot of time get the party togheter but it was also great experience to fight together the weaponskill system where you had do your skill manually was awesome and funny.

After alot of work we got all almost lvl 75 then we started invite some more people from other countries we was not many enough to kill bigger mobs like Serket Roc Simurgh King Artho

We got the link shell bigger and started hunt Small NM it was exciting and wery funny but the gillseller was there also and it was big fight with them always but it was worth it for the items was really nice and it was wery exciting when we got claim.

We was doing Hakkutakku for optical hat for the members i real nice event when you got the hat it was a real nice feeling.

It was alot of drama also when we was doing the small NM but still i liked it. It was our chance in the linkshell make some gil to use to buy other equip people crafted becouse we had no high lvl crafters in ouer LS in the start.

It was nice to have diffrent way to make gil you could farm smaller items sell camp the small nm get a decent item to sell without need for crafting
or you could craft and make alot of money also if you was lucky get a +1 item.

It was tough to get items but you was happy when you got it also.
Another thing was the lvl based equip it was so nice when you got your lvl to use your new items it was just a small goal to get the 3 next lvls so u could use the new items to make your character greater.

I remember the first high lvl i was looking at there equip and just that gave me motivation to work on next lvl.

Allmost all good things in FFXI it was alot of work behind to get them it was that who made the game so nice and exciting many people was waiting over 1 year or more to get just one item.

After the first expansion was out we was doing the new missions togheter and i joined my first Sky LS it was great going with a big group to farm and kill NM in Sky we was running around and had alot of fun togheter the items was great but some classes had hard to benefit from Sky like mages becouse most items was for melee and tanks there.

But later in game almost all had both melee and mages job then it was easier get people.
I will also say i was not working under this time so i was playing full time FFXI many people who not had same time spend got tired and stopped played the game but many player with little time also stayed in the game they was doing things who not took so much time like camping HNM.

Sky and Sea Limbus Dynamis was the main events for the people with less time in the game

The people who had a lot of time was doing that also but on extra time lvl more jobs crafting and hunting HNM

I remember my first HNM LS when i got almost all things i wanted from Sky at that moment I was starting look for a HNM LS

It was great camping in start but in the end it was boring to just stand and wait on same spot 3-9 hour almost every day.

A big HNM like Tiamat or Nidhogg is great but the pop could be more random in time any time under 5 real days and any where in the area then it gets harder for people camp before pop

The fun with FFXI was when Tiamat poped and you had to drop all you was doing run there with all people online it was exciting running in dangerous areas on way without die to make the party fast enough to claim before the other LS claimed it

It was action all the way from the pop to get there fast enough without get agro or die on the way to the NM get people in party claim the NM kill adds people had after running there it was a lot of nice action and excitement

Same in Sky when the Small NM popped you had to run there before other LS claimed you had to think and plan and do decisions do we have people enough to claim kill it was things like that who made FFXI fun for me

The competition the decisions I remember fight with HNM where people claimed died becose they was to few then other group took over it was real action and exciting

There was always something for all to do there was people only lvl jobs people only doing quests some people was doing all and there was a lot funny things to do in FFXI and a lot of items you was dreaming about but never got

The best with FFXI was the options You could spend your time lvl jobs only many did it

Events there was a lot of them Dynamis Sky Sea Limbus Einherjar Salvage NM HNM

Some ideas I have to make FFXIV better

Bring in the Small NM again the one you can solo like Mee Deggi the Punisher Pallas Valkrum Emperior Eastern Shadow Argus

With nice drop rare as it FFXI but let the NM have much bigger spawn area and much more random sometimes maybe 3 times pop in one hour then it can go 1-2 real days spawn to next pop then people gonna find the NM more random

Do the same with NM like Serket Simurg King Artho rare very good drops let the nm spawn really random sometimes 8 hour to next pop sometimes maybe 3 days so people not can track windows

More Events like Dynamis but time can be cut down from 3 to 1-2 hour

Zones with agro and big HNM like Tiamat a random pop can be 1-10 real life days no timer people can track like window every hour or half hour you have move there carefully and fight wise to kill without die on way there or under fight

The economy is broken in the game its hard find small items needed for craft who is cheap buy but no people save them because its not worth the effort manage your bazaar or use bazaar slots for cheap things when you have no auction house

I also miss the battle system from FFXI it was a lot more fun fight there I liked the big weapon skill system

The party play was fun you had many options mana burn party bard party monk party and so on

The missions in FFXI was great and amazing you had to work get right setup to make it and it was exciting

My best FFXI memories was when there was people everywhere the partys with bard first 2 year in sky first 2 year in HNM LS moving around in zones you had to sneak the run to claim HNM and the day you got that item you been waiting for in 1 year the rings you got from the missions my PLD body from Nidhogg my black belt as mnk its moments that make FFXI to the greatest game i played
