What will happen to our previous Company items??

I was wondering.. for 1.0 players who already spent alot of time farming to get thier company gears, but now its not useful unless you join the same company again..

As SE already allowed us to change names,gender,shape ... why not allow us to change the company and Refund our gears with seals so we can continue on as nothing happened?

Just a general question is this forum for Grand Companies or Free Companies?

I have a bunch of Storm gear that I may or may not use again depending on what company I choose this time around. It wasn't easy gathering that many seals to buy the gear in the first place...

i think a dev said along with the other useless items you now have, you get like trade in seals, if i could link the dev post i would but they are gone now >.< hope this helps

As I recall, they're planning on adding the ability to do a quest to switch your Grand Company allegiance at some point. You'll be able to do this multiple times but I'm sure there will be some sort of restriction, most likely waiting a certain amount of time and possibly costing you gil. When joining a new company, however, you start out at the lowest rank and won't be able to use your previous company's gear.

I am missing all my bird barding I got all 3 different versions of it before the final save, i really want it back -.-

just rejoined immortal flames, got my seals from before, however, why cant i use my chocobo....
