Darker is easier on the eyes
Dark is indeed easier on the eyes. I hate this new layout. Please allow us to change it. The Beta Forum was perfect, this just STINGS!!!
Its part of SE's new "Lurker be Gone" color palette system.
Minimal Lurkage- Strawberries and Cream.
Moderate Lurkage- Hawaiian Fruit Basket.
Maximum Lurkage- Rainbow Splash
I have to agree I prefered the black theme from the beta forums... It is much easier on the eyes
I'm not sure, I think the black version was easier to read but this version seems more modern to me atleast..
At the very least give us the option to switch themes, rather than force one or the other on everybody.
