Updating the service account.

When I sign into the PS3 client and it wants to update the service accounts

Under "Option" it only shows an alternate character I made instead of my main one. Is this a problem? It's not showing both but I know the other exists.

My main character is Lunar Emerald not Solar Ruby but it's only showing Solar. Both are under the same account, Solar is just a throwaway alt I made to play during 3102.

Someone please answer. I don't want to submit this thing and have it apply to the wrong character.

I'm also having this problem. I made an charater on a JP server that I could play while I was 1017'd, but on the PS3 it says the option is Stupid Name (the character I made, haha.) I want to get the items on my character on Cactuar.

Edit: Said I made an account when I meant to say I made a character.

AFAIK, the pre-order items are account wide, not character specific.

I also experienced the same issue. The alt I made on the JP server was shown as the only option. yet on this forum, It showed both of my characters. I have been in que for live assistance, and booted three times so far. Has any one found and relevant information concerning this issue. The kicker, is I deleted my JP alt Sunday before the 3102 error had even been addressed by SE.

That's what I thought but I'm a bit paranoid after having so many issues already. I'm guessing Option only lists one character instead of them all for whatever reason.

I proceeded even though it showed my 3102 alt, I'm pretty sure it's account wide like the post above has said.

This confirms that pre-order items are account wide and not character specific. Should be safe to go with the service account, even if not every character is listed since they're all tied to same account.

I know I deleted Rauko-to avoid a mixup of character transfer. But I just logged onto these forums for the first time, and Krysnin was just sitting there looking at me. I wonder if it is just showing us the 'most recent' character we played with, and is actually transferring all of them. I hope so in any case, if not...what's a few extra hours of leveling any way.

It doesn't matter if your character isn't on the screen. Whether you're a legacy player with the original CE items, a new player with pre-order items, or a new CE player, all characters will receive their item via Mognet (in-game mail).
