Setting your Avatar

How do you do it?

Answer: It appears to happen on its own some time after selecting your Character.

Edit: But mine seems to randomly disappear, it's gone again...

I see you avatar alright.

What I didn't get at first was that clicking on characters in the "Edit Characters" panel, only toggles them on or off. To set the avatar, we need to click on the star sign on the top-left corner of the character picture we want to show.

Also, when you post a new post, that new post will not have your avatar. But if you reload the page, it will appear. In the same way, when you edit a post, your avatar on that post will disappear (as will your signature), only to appear again when you reload the page.

It's really cool that it references your in-game character for the avatar, but it's a let-down that there's no option to toggle off headgear, or at least check to see if I have it set to "invisible" in-game. Waaaaah, I am stuck with this ugly leather skullcap thing now! :-(

I agree, I searched for like 20 min trying to find a helm toggle for my avatar. Kind of defeats the point of seeing our chars if you can't actually...ya know...see our chars.

how do I get my charecter info to display as my signature I'm using my samsung phone to do it .. any help would be nice thanks :)

+1: Please add a way to toggle off helm display in our forum avatars, and additionally please allow us to use either our currently-equipped gear or race-specific gear (useful in case we have armor that has an un-removable head piece).
