Can Link PS3 to Service account now (UK)

Just linked my pre-order PS3 client with my 1.0 characters service account. All went smoothly and all items correctly registered. Also there is another 1827MB Download for PS3 which is quite a lot. I'm sure PC updater will get this in a bit.

Can confirm this, I'm already downloading the extra bit.

Good to hear, when it asks you to link to a service account is it just the service account name or is there any other indication of items already on those service accounts.?As a way to differentiate between multiple service accounts.

I think the last time I tried to link my service account, it just made a second service account. Hoping this doesn't cause any issues down the road. I have little reason to believe it will.

EDIT: Can't post any more today.

Not to be cynical, but how do you all know it's working? When I applied my PS3 beta code in phase 4, it listed all my 1.0 items and accounts yet it still created a second service account. Not saying I don't believe you all, just curious as to what indications that it went through correctly.

Short answer yes.

Works just like applying the PC code; Shows what's already applied to every service account. (CE, Legacy etc)

I would like to know if my ps3 and legacy accounts are on the same service account but I don't see any way to check

It asks you to link accounts then you put in your service account Username, password and one time password if you have one. Then for me it showed my service account called FFXIV and all the serviced and items currently registered to it, which included legacy items, collectors edition 1.0 and 2.0 items. Then just clicked next and it shows its going to add moogle cap and cait sith minion and early access for pc and ps3.

Just linked my PS3 account to my 1.0 Legacy account. Worked perfectly. Really happy, now my 1.0 char will get the Moogle hat. :D

I too have successfully linked my PS3 pre-order to my Legacy PC account with no problems.

I just linked my account as well, is there any way to add a second service account to a psn id though? I have 2 accounts and it is just grayed out when I try to change my username.
