Forum Design and Features Update (Aug. 22)

In addition to the new forum design, the following changes have been made to the FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn official forum.

• The forum design has been changed to an FFXIV: ARR-themed design.
  * A smart phone version of the current design is planned to be implemented in the future.
  
  
• Thread Creation and Forum Posts
  • The number of threads that can be created and the number of posts that can be made in a 24-hour time period is now restricted based on the level of the main character that has been linked to your forum profile.

    * These restriction do not apply to the "Technical Support," "Bug Reports," "New Player Help" and "Community Events" forums and sub-forums. However, please note that off-topic threads that do not match the intended theme of the sub-forum will be deleted. Please make sure that thread content matches with the theme of the forum before you create a thread.
    * The restriction will reset every 24 hours.
    
    
  • Once a thread has been created or post is made, you must wait 60 minutes until you can create a new thread and 15 minutes until you can make another post.
• Maximum Character Limit
  The maximum number of characters per post has been limited to 1,000 characters.
  * This limitation will not apply to the "Technical Support" and "Bug Reports" forums and sub-forums.
  
  
• The "Popular Threads" feature has been added to the top page of the forum.
  This feature will list threads that have gained in popularity.
  Clicking on a thread title will allow you to jump directly to the thread.
