FFXIV Bahamut vs. WoW Deathwing - Who Wins?

Saw this thread on the WoW forums, Looks like the majority of people agree that Bahamut would win. What do you guys think?

Makes me wonder the whole extent of Bahamut's rampage might shed more light on this...What are we returning to 5 years later?

Well, yeah. Anyone who's been around through Cataclysm knows Deathwing was overblown in importance. Deathwing would need the Dragon Soul and the focusing iris of the Eye of Eternity combined to even stand a chance.

OP was exaggerated greatly! Obviously Bahamut would win ;) BUT he nowhere near destroyed the world, he "slightly levelled" the Eorzea region, didn't even touch the rest of Hydaelyn.

Indeed! The only thing scary about Deathwing was his sheer size. In fact, people sought him out hoping to get the Stood In The Fire achievement.

He's a chump compared to Bahamut.

To be fair to Sailormut. he does get many incarnations throughout the universe, and seems to up in strength and power every time. Yesterday's Teraflare is tommorrow's Megaflare and next week's warning shot.

Think the closest dragon in WoW lore to the FF 14 Bahamut would probably be Galakrond, and even then id be one hell of a fight hehe.

there isn't much "lore" for Galakrond though, except that he was the "progenitor" of dragons and was bigger than all 5 aspects combined. It took the 5 flights to take him down apparently too.

Bahamut comes out of the top half of a "moon" >.> Guessing he is pretty frikking big :P not to mention his ability with "magic" seems really strong, strong enough to "fight" off the imprisonment of the 12 <.<

Smaug would own them both.
