Mobile Version: First New Post

The mobile phone version of the forums does not seem to have a function for skipping to the first new post in a given thread (implemented in the full version by the small blue icons next to the post name). This is a very useful feature that would both benefit the user and the servers by cutting down on HTTP requests for the first page of a thread when we really want to just skip over it to the last page. Even after entering a thread, there doesn't seem to be a button for jumping to the first unread reply.

If this feature already exists on the mobile platform, it either doesn't seem to be working on iOS/Safari or is not intuitive to access, and it would make the mobile version so much more useful if it were implemented or fixed.
