Coeurl Mount: Let's talk theme music!

If we are truly implementing something as exotic as a coeurl mount, it needs a good theme song.

Obviously the coeurl is more of a savannah or jungle type species, so I thought that one of the better options for theme music would be the Veldt theme. It has an upbeat, engaging feel to it, with an addicting rhythm great for travel; In my personal opinion, it would be the perfect option. Perhaps any combination of these will help inspire Yoshida's team.

Edit: With the confirmation that all CE players get the coeurl mount, I think this topic deserves a little more visibility. What do others think about the song choice?

Nothing can compete with the Veldt for a Coeurl theme. Unless something is written specifically for the Coeurls.

I'd like to hear something like Treasure Sleeping in the Sand though. Or Monster Round Dance ~Rondo~. Actually FFCC has one of the better soundtracks in the series.

Also, if we get some Mandragora-carried Litter, I'd love to hear Daemon's Court in that context.

My friend, your opinion just made my day. (And probably Kumi Tanioka's as well.)

However, there is inherent risk in using Crystal Chronicles-styled music outside of the CC games. Tanioka has developed a very distinctive style for the series that is reminiscent of old English folk music and makes strong use of certain types of instruments. Taking it outside the CC universe could cause some of the magic to be lost from it.
So, I'd be inclined to see some of the melodic themes adopted, but not the same instruments.

Personaly, I think the Leuda theme would be most fitting. (Or is that just me having a thing for unusual time signatures...?)

well when I think of a Coeurl I think of leopards irl, so an african themed song would be great

something simple drums and flutes, something like Cosmo Canyon theme FF7 or something that says wild and tribal. I like to think that most Coeurl don't like the fact they are being used for mounts so trying to keep that wild aspect would be good.

Entertaining rhythm, but the repeating voiceover would make me commit seppukku over and over.
