Not sure how accurate all this is, but FusionX has been my main source of info for a while now, so I think he's dead on. But I am one of those who doesn't know all the lore or meaning behind a lot of stuff going on because I joined pretty much right before FFXIV Armageddon, so here's a good video explaining the story and what we will be going into for 2.0 Launch.

It purposely doesn't include interpretations and theories (besides a few hints), so that the reader/watcher can basically just relive the story of 1.0 as it was and make his own conclusions.

He was talking about the "Higher" and it took me a moment to realise he meant "H'yoor".
