HOUSING for GILS... Do we really want it like this??!

Do you really guys want a system, where people that used bot or bought gils in 1.0, will have advantages over honest ppl? Of course I'm not saying that everyone in 1.0 was a botter or a gil buyer, but i know for sure that a LOT of them made TONS of gils by botting.

Also we know that houses will costs a LOT of gils, and that you can sell & trade them... This is a red carpet invite for RMT, dear Yoshi, dear SE, think about it.


Please make houses like an achievment/storyline completion reward. You completed the content? Here take your house, and not you bought gils or boted , here take your reward anyway.

Something like:

-You completed the lv 30 story line? Here take this small house.
-You completed both 3 storyline and killed Bahamut in super hard mode? Wow, you're a hero! Please take this LARGE MANSION for you and your adventurer friends.

Even in Wildstar the dev announced that you can get your own house by completing a lv 6 quest.

This is why they are restricting transfers of 1.0 characters to certain servers so that those servers can have a "fresh" economy.

As for the concern with RMT's you may have a good point there. I was a little concerned when they said you could sell and trade deeds. I was hoping you would have to sell it back to the real estate agents so they could resell the house.

I don't see it costing as much as people think it would be. If saving your money from 1-50= small house and 3 players saving there money from 1-50= Med. I don't think it would cost anywhere near 1-5mil range. It may cost somewhere near 100-600k for a med house which is a lot for 2.0 starting players. But for us players who played 1.0 it would be pretty much noting.

I could be wrong and SE go crazy and make it 1-6mil which then i myself with 8.5mil in 2.0 can't buy. Because 1-6mil is pretty much 10-60mil in 1.0 version and i only have 85mil.

I hope SE does not make the price so crazy as that because then ya RMT would be all over that with there max gil. But if SE stop being lazy and ban people for using bot/RMT i don't see much of a issue.

There's probably people who made honest gil in 1.0 who make botters even look bad lol.

Ridill is full of people with max gil lol which mean they have 99mil in 2.0. Which mean our economy is fucked. Even with RMT we still going to have a bad economy for months or years to come. Not if SE find a way to really make people waste there money.

well its always going to be like that and the reason RMT supports the game because most people buy from them. if not then how would most the population have most to all the relic weapons, no one is that lucky crafting and weapons needed in the MW cost 10mill+. RMT & bots aint going anywhere, economy in ARR wont be any different from 1.0.

biggest issue we have theres too much loot in the system one reason RMT is around and thriving so well, theres only 2 qualitys of equipment and you only need 2 stats per job, so theres really no choice in what to meld. they need crafted equipment to break over time not bind to your character. food was practically useless in 1.0.

When i say they have max gil i mean they have 999mil in 1.0 which mean they have 99mil in 2.0. Which mean there rich like hell in 2.0 stranded also.

There loads of JP and NA that i know with 999mil which is crazy. I myself had over 300+mil but i use a lot for meld gear and 55mil went to relics :( so now i only have 8.5mil which is 85mil in 1.0

I think you can at least afford a small house but yoshi-p said it would be a long quest. He said it would take a long time to get access to a house so we be using our inn for a while. But i don't see that happening from this last live letter it same everything is casual lol.

If you wait few week the house price would go down. The more people get them the more it would cost but once that demand is low it be at a good price.
