After being logged in for an extended period of time, light colored/white/transparent orbs appear floating around my character. They are stationary in relationship to my character, and move when I move. Zooming in or out does not cause the orbs to move. Attempting to take a screenshot makes the orbs disappear when the UI disappears (when you press scroll-lock) and reappear when the UI returns. The orbs, therefore, do not show up on the screenshot. It appears to be a lighting effect, as in some locations, in just the right lighting, the orbs seem to disappear. Running makes the orbs seem brighter, while standing still they seem more apparent. Teleporting, zoning, etc., do not make the orbs disappear, however, re-logging does.

you can take a screenshot by just pressing prt scrn and going to paint. Then just right click and paste but it seem the orbs could be link with the UI some how.

You're not the only one. I have the same issue. I thought it was supposed to be there.

I'm not sure why this was moved to technical support. I'm running on a clean computer with more than sufficient hardware, current drivers, etc., and in fact posted this in the first place because someone else had reported it as a bug, multiple had reported the same issue in that thread, but you guys (the mods) asked us each to report it as a bug. Still, if you want technical support, people are welcome to try to offer up ideas. But I'm not exactly a newb at tech stuff (in fact, fixing problems like this is part of what I do for a living.)

So... any ideas?

Bumping this thread because it still happens. And I have tried everything i know how to fix it. Still looking for input, since apparently SE thinks this is my issue.

Hey origami, I had a similar problem with the borders around my ui menu's "glitching" eventually i rolled my video drivers back to a previous driver and the problem was fixed. I have ati drivers so this isnt the same thing your experiencing, however I just wanted to point out why the devs moved this to technical issues. Try rolling back to a previous driver, or ask what others with nvidia drivers are using.
