Issues with Beta Key to DL client

I am getting this error:

"The code's region is inapplicable. You can only enter codes from the same region as your Square Enix account."

Anyone else in the same situation? And can if so can you shed some light on this for me.

I am not braking the NDA by asking in official FFXIV forums about issues with the product.

by asking on the regular forums, about a beta product that has its own forums....im not sure. I still wanna say NDA...someone correct me if im wrong.

I know someone who has the same issue, when looking into it, it seems they have a SE eccount that was registered as being in the EU region, but when they applied for beta they put in NA region, as such they got the same message as you. So it would seem the codes are locked to a region.

NDA this is a beta issue it should be discuss on the beta forum. I seen few other with you issue try to head over the beta forums

Your not allow to post in the public forums you need to post any issue on the beta forums.

I tryed to log into them (the beta forums i mean) but it wont allow me since i cannot get my Key to work as it seems to be locked to either jp or eu, and i live in Canada - na ; ;

make a support ticket they help you :)

did you click on the link on the email where it show you step by step to put your key? what happen when you put your key?
