No video on Benchmark

Hmmm, my husbands gaming laptop cant seem to get any video on the benchmark. The audio plays but the picture is black. Any ideas?

Have you updated your drivers? My wife's computer needed a DirectX upgrade before the thing would even launch but then everything was smooth sailing.

Computer probably isnt strong enough to play the game then ^^;

My colleague's laptop just threw out an error message and crashed before the video started! We think his on-board GPU can't handle it, so he loaded up RIFT in protest lol

SOLVED: I just had someone else tell me turn off "Improve Overall Graphics Quality" and works fine now. So if anyone else has this issue try that.

also had that same problem there are settings that allow me to see an image but its all blurred but ive seem to have solved that after tweaking some more options.

but i can never get the damn effects turned on even tho for my weaker laptop all the effects even on low are all on.

but my PC which used to run 1.0 almost at max settings cant seem to handle this benchmark.
this is so annoying -.-.

Have you tried turning off the option for "Improve Graphical Quality"? I believe that has helped others with the same issue you have.

Tried that, but my problem is slightly different to the OP. I don't even get audio. Just a black screen with:
