Pre-AAR FFXIV Registration Code Still Vaild?

Hey,

Just a quickie, I have already registered XIV to my own account (hence the character) but I bought another copy for my at the time fiancee (now wife) to play but because I tried running my copy on her laptop to see how it ran (the only way to describe it would be to say a 10 year old had a fit on paint) and the result, I never used the registration code that came with it on her SE Account & the registration section of the SE Account website is currently still "locked" .

So, my question is; When AAR releases, will that code still work as I have already bought a copy of the original game or will I need to buy another copy/code?

Yes all old FFXIV code can be used in 2.0 once that registration start working again.

This also mean FFXIV item codes also if you not yet use them and seeing how now in ARR. Getting a item is much more easy i guessing it send by mail. In 1.0 you had to use the code and then make a char or the char that was made wont have the item code.

Remember if you want to play FFXIV on ps3 you would have to buy the PS3 version and put the code on your account.
